Founded as Controltec, focusing on Custom Software Development
1997
Developed first version of KinderTrack, customized child care subsidy system and KinderWait wait list solution for California based customers
2000
“Productized” KinderTrack child care subsidy system
First in nation to do Internet-based attendance capture
First to offer swipe card for tracking attendance
2003
Created CenterTrack, a child care management system for center-based agencies in California
Expanded outside of California, starting with Iowa
First to use biometrics in attendance capture
2009
Created stand-alone provider portal, allowing for digital attendance tracking and downloading documents (KinderConnect)
2010
Created API with child care management system ProCare as a bridge to using existing provider systems for attendance capture (KinderBridge)
2012
First mobile application in the nation to capture attendance using geo-location for both tablet and smartphones (KinderSign and KinderSmart)
Expanded into New York
2015
Lunched program integrity offering using predictive analytics to detect and prevent fraud
Expanded into Missouri, Ohio, and Washington
2021
Acquisition of COPA as expansion into HeadStart and Early Childhood systems
Expanded into Lousiana
2022
Name change to KinderSystems from Controltec
Merged with NoHo CARE, widening California footprint
