What started as a small custom software development firm in 1993, has evolved into a nationwide, trusted leader in the child care industry – delivering innovative, purpose-built technology that empowers government agencies to serve families with efficiency, integrity, and care.

In fact, some of the country’s largest subsidy states — California, New York, and Texas — depend on our solutions for their operations.

KinderSystems history is one of constant evolution and firsts — we were first to market using internet-based methods for time and attendance collection back in 2000 with what became our cornerstone subsidy management system products known today as partners as KinderTrack and KinderConnect. These concepts propelled us into being the market leader for system interconnectivity and streamlining manual processes.

KinderSystems was first to transition those capabilities into mobile applications and mobile-enabled technology in KinderSmart and KinderSign during the rise of smartphone use beginning in 2012. In 2010, we were first to offer a productized approach for integrating existing child care management systems (CCMS) through KinderBridge – allowing providers to keep their existing CCMS, without adding additional attendance processes for subsidy families.

Today, we’re one of the only subsidy management systems to offer a child care specific program integrity solution (launched in 2023 as IntegrityCentral), aimed at early detection of potential misuse, and highlighting cases for further review and investigation.

KinderSystems expanded our reach into the early childhood market by merging with COPA in 2021 — making us the largest provider of comprehensive child care technology solutions in the country.
